About Little Sprouts
Little Sprouts Daycare + Preschool, LLC was founded by two passionate mothers of the greater Lanark area. Cari and Stacy are owners of Little Sprouts. Between them they have nearly 30 years of professional childcare experience, Cari had long-standing and reputable daycare out of her home. They love what they do, and this definitely enhances your child's experience at the center. They go out of their way to create an environment that is perfect for a child's natural evolution. All daily activities will be based on your child's current interest and developmental level. The fact all their own children are enrolled at the center should give you extra confidence your child will be in very safe hands.

Little Sprouts Daycare and Preschool, LLC exists to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and educational experience which promotes each child's social / emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to support children's desire to be life-long learners.
Meet the Owners
Cari Simons
Cari Simon is one of the owners at Little Sprouts. Opening a daycare center was always something Cari had thought about, but never dreamed would actually happen!
She graduated from Highland Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She also attained an ECE Level 4 Credential, an Infant/Toddler Level 2, Technical Assistance Credential Level 4, and has recently obtained her Director's Credential.
After graduation from Highland, Cari opened her own home daycare which she ran for seven years before opening Little Sprouts in 2015. Little Sprouts has been an amazing adventure for Cari so far. She began in the 2-Year-Old Room as Lead Teacher, then transfered to the Infant Room Lead Teacher, and then became full-time Director in March in 2019.
Cari is originally from Pearl City, where she met her husband, Kyle. They have two boys together, Brody and Parker, and two dogs, Kashi and Maggie. Cari enjoys spending time with her family doing anything outdoors and watching her boys play sports.
Stacy Lamoreux
Stacy Lamoreux is the owner and director at Little Sprouts Daycare and Preschool, LLC, a DCFS licensed daycare center located in Lanark, IL. Stacy is a graduate of Highland Community College and received an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Stacy has obtained the ECE Credential Level 4 and the Infant/Toddler Credential Level 2, and Director Credential Level 2. After obtaining her ECE degree Stacy worked as a teacher’s aide for three years for Eastland Elementary School. Stacy has always dreamed of owning a daycare so her dreams have become a reality. She is beyond blessed to be doing it all with her best friend and business partner Cari. Stacy lives in Lanark, with her husband and two children. Time off from the center includes spending time with her family, getting together with friends, working out, and watching sports.
